Rafa losing fast in Shanghai may be the major scenario now from the
ATP tennis tour, along with the continuing excellent form of Andy Murray. Personally I've truly enjoyed this week, I have been conducting a substantial amount of
trading tennis and have been doing reasonably nicely.
David Ferrer reached the last 4 of the Shanghai Masters with a gutsy all round performance versus former number 1 Andy Roddick. The Yank moved his Spanish opposition all over the place but lost the contest in a tight third set.
Roddick triumphed in their meeting last month but Ferrer turned out to be the more tough person this time around as he barely got the better of his opposition.
Andy Murray reached his 3rd semi final consecutively as his excellent run of performances continued with a win against Ebden. Murray shed just 5 games on his path to a success which included a 7 game streak which put the match solidly in his hands.
Dolgopolov was beaten by Kei Nishikori when the Japanese athlete arrived at the very first Masters 1000 semi final of his professional career.
It was another surprise Nishikori is responsible for this week right after his victory against Tsonga earlier this week. He is presently Japan's greatest ever ranked male player, and really should go into the top 40 next week. The victory pushes Nishikori inside the planets top 40, helping to make him the highest-ranked men's professional from Japan at any time, and follows his extraordinary triumph vs Tsonga earlier this week.
